The American Marketing Association is the largest and most comprehensive professional society for marketers, consisting of over 38,000 members in 400 chapters across the world, working in every sector of marketing. Founded in 1937 as a not-for-profit professional organization, the purpose of the AMA is to advance the science and ethical practice of the marketing discipline and to assist with personal and professional career development for its members.

The Southeastern New England Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMASNE) engages and promotes the professional marketing community in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Formally founded in 1989, AMASNE provides programming and resources that support our mission as the premiere resource for marketers in our local business community to grow their businesses and careers.
